BARK MITVAH
BY: Mark Melnick
It’s August and those dog days of summer are here. While it’s too darn hot
for the dog park, or an evening walk, there’s no reason why we can’t stop and
celebrate our pets. Here is a cute invite for a Bark Mitzvah, 1st Birthday,
which can be customized for any doggone occasion you like!
Difficulty: Beginner
Time Required: 30 minutes
STEP 1.
Cut a piece of colored card stock to any desired size. Tape to your craft mat using painters or washi tape. By covering the entire piece of card stock with strips of tape, you can then decide which pieces to remove for striping in the next step.
STEP 2.
Remove tape where striping will occur. Take Sponge Dauber and Ink stripes onto card stock. Pigment Ink works best and will not smear once dry.
STEP 3.
Remove remaining tape and allow ink to dry completely. Take focal image and adhere to the card stock.
