PARIS MIXED MEDIA PROJECT

PARIS MIXED MEDIA PROJECT
How you gonna keep 'em down on the farm...??

This project was created as a commission piece for a client. Their little girl has a room full of Paris this and Paris that and so I wanted to keep it in the Paris theme but also personalize it. The products I used are listed below;

 Washi tape, Plastic Slide Mount, Film strip, Fleur de Lys Stencil,
Fleur de Lys rubber stamp, Dymo Label Letters, Paris-themed fabric, Framed canvas 9x12

  1. Such a fun piece - love the mix of elements.

    P/s: Your email is not linked to your blogger profile so I have to answer to your question on my post on glass bead ge here.

    QUESTION: So this tutorial is quite simple....adhere the watercolour paper to the tag...got it.

    But....Apply an EVEN coat of Gold Metallic Paint [yours looks swirly]? Is the 'web like' material around the stone embellishment lace or something else?

    Thanks.

    I adhered lace to to the watercolour paper...that's why you see the swirly designs. The watercolour paper is my tag.

    1. ...and so then you painted a complete layer of gold metallic paint onto the watercolour paper? And the, it the material that surrounds the stone embellishment lace or some other type of fabric media? Thanks --

      No, I adhered the lace to the watercolour paper. Then I painted the entire thing with gold paint before I added the glass bead gel. I added a little gold trim to the top of the tag before adding the jewel embellishment.
